For 15+ years I've helped banks, biotech companies and insurers rethink their web platforms. I love strategic planning, but I'm equally at home in the CMS, configuring analytics, or optimising content. I don't just design the roadmap, I ship the thing.
Nine years in agencies gave me pitch speed and creative pressure. In-house, at Napster, Rabobank, Miltenyi and Generali, I learned what actually works inside large organisations – from marketing roles, with direct responsibility for steering IT, engineering and external partners.
My focus: clear messages, good interfaces and measurable results.
Starting point: Website and funnels serving 1.8 million existing customers as partner of Germany's largest health insurer, high optimisation potential, many departments involved.
What I owned: Relaunch management via CoreMedia CMS, UX optimisation, SEO prioritisation, funnel rebuild. Managed two agile engineering teams. Coordinated Customer Service, Marketing, Legal, and external partners.
Result: Online policy sales doubled within three months of go-live.
Starting point: Complex international platform with high demands on consistency and scalability.
What I owned: Migration from Sitecore to TYPO3 Neos (headless) in six months. Built global editorial processes, managed localisation across 20+ languages and around 120 editors. Template-level governance for regulatory and brand consistency across Europe, APAC, and the US.
Result: Scalable publishing structure, 17% faster load times, zero downtime.
Starting point: Building and optimising a digital banking platform in the German market with high compliance and trust requirements.
What I owned: End-to-end digital experience delivery from requirements to go-live. Funnel optimisation, UX testing, ongoing journey improvement. Central interface between the German web team, Dutch HQ, and internal departments. Coordinated IT, compliance, and marketing for a secure platform with strong governance.
Result: +25% conversion. 220,000 new customers and EUR 8 billion in deposits within 24 months.
